Pat Walsh is an entrepreneur, board director, and advisor whose work sits at the intersection of technology, philanthropy, and social impact. He is the co-founder and former Chief Impact Officer of Classy, a leading SaaS fundraising platform that helped thousands of nonprofit organizations raise over $5 billion before being acquired by GoFundMe in 2022.

Throughout his career, Patrick has focused on building infrastructure that helps mission-driven organizations. In addition to helping nonprofits raise capital, he led initiatives focused on programmatic performance, outcomes measurement, and sector-wide collaboration, including the creation of the Collaborative, an annual gathering of nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs. He was recognized by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of America’s Top 5 Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs.

Patrick serves on the Board of Directors of Tap Cancer Out and is a member of the Leadership Council of Oxfam America. As a Trustee of Candid, he is particularly interested in the future of trusted data, philanthropic intelligence, and the responsible application of emerging technologies to strengthen decision-making across the social sector. He believes that as AI transforms how information is discovered and used, organizations like Candid have an increasingly important role to play as trusted infrastructure for philanthropy.

Patrick holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and lives in Rhode Island with his wife and three daughters.
