While the tool works best with an up-to-date nonprofit profile, you can still generate custom recommendations for specific programs or organizations without a profile. Just click ‘New’ and describe your organization and program, and our tool will build a targeted funder list in seconds. 

 

Understanding your results 

Each funder in your results includes helpful context to inform your prospecting decisions: 

• Focus areas and funding priorities – What subject areas and populations this funder supports 

• Grant history – How many grants have been given out 

• Financial overview – Snapshots of the funder’s assets and total giving 

To see why a specific funder appears in your results, hover over the ‘Why was this funder recommended?’ tooltip. This shows you the connection between your nonprofit’s work and the funder’s giving history.
