Tony Rodriguez

Tony is responsible for leading partnerships with some of the country’s leading corporations, foundations and national giving platforms. Early in his role at GuideStar he was instrumental in guiding new product development, pricing, developing go-to-market plans and business development. His work results in innovation and unleashing the potential of Candid’s current products and services to create greater social impact.

He regularly works with the Bay Area’s most innovative companies, grant makers and nonprofits in formulating products & services for social impact. His professional background has included director positions in hospitality design & consulting firms, technology start-ups and has volunteered with numerous nonprofits.  His service in the nonprofit sector includes a 10-year leadership role on the board of directors for Youth Speaks, Inc. based in San Francisco. Additionally, he has served an advisory role for several nonprofits and is often invited to participation in early stage planning for nonprofits and social entrepreneurs. Tony earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. When not at the office you can find Tony enjoying his extracurricular activities such as hiking trails, exploring wilderness areas, backpacking, photography and attending poetry slams.
