Sarah Minster is a senior at Tufts University double-majoring in Economics and Civil Studies. She is passionate about using economic tools to engage in community-driven social justice work, driven by using storytelling of many kinds to amplify diverse voices, and keenly interested in data management and dialogical practices. She spent her spring 2020 studying human rights in the U.S. South, Nepal, and Jordan through the IHP Study Abroad Program.
Sarah’s many activities include leading TEDxTufts as the marketing and publicity director, writing for several Tufts publications, leading 5-day Tufts Wilderness Orientation backpacking trips for incoming first-year students, working as a barista at and managing the finances of an on-campus, student-run café, and engaging in community service in the Medford/Somerville area through Mutual Aid Medford and Somerville (MAMAS) and Tufts Community Outreach Project. She has previously studied intermediate/advanced Modern Standard Arabic and advanced-beginner French.
