Founder and CEO, Empowerment Through Integration
Sara Minkara, a Forbes “30 Under 30” Recipient, is a blind, Lebanese-American Muslim woman who studied math and economics at Wellesley College and has her master’s in public policy from Harvard University Kennedy School. Sara is the founder and CEO of Empowerment Through Integration (ETI), an international nonprofit that is committed to disrupting the narrative around disability by moving from a charity lens to a value-based perspective. ETI’s core belief is that inclusion of all is a value for all; by empowering young people with disabilities and accelerating authentic inclusion globally across all sectors, its programs ensure that each and every stakeholder in society truly believes this. ETI offers two branches of programming: Direct Service Empowerment Programs, for youth with disabilities internationally in countries like Lebanon; and customized Authentic Inclusion Programs for corporate, academic, government, and nonprofit settings.
