Sam Fankuchen, Golden’s Founder and CEO, was the first undergraduate student to major in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford. He wrote his Masters thesis on optimizing the volunteer and donor lifecycle while studying at the Stanford d.School, and actively collaborates with University College London, Microsoft, and Stanford Human-Centered AI Lab around artificial intelligence for advancing human quality of life.
Sam has spoken on social entrepreneurship, cross-sector collaboration, disaster relief, and digital ethics at The United Nations, Stanford, Harvard, UPenn, USC, America’s Service Commissions, and testified before the Congressional Commission on National, Military, and Public Service. Sam holds Board and advisory positions with The Engage Journal, Webby and Anthem Awards, Gates Greater Giving Summit, GivingTuesday, and the Giving Platform Collaborative.
