Promise Pitman

Promise Pitman is a senior at American University in Washington D.C. where she’s earning a B.A. in Journalism and Economics. As a double major, she’s able to learn at the intersection of business and communications and grow her passion for analytical storytelling.

Promise also holds a passion for nonprofit communications. She worked with Candid’s Communication’s team in 2023 as the Communications & Brand Awareness intern, where she was able to use her skills to make a positive impact on the world. She’s had the honor of working in and around the nonprofit industry for five years and is eager to continue her journey within the field.
