Nick Carrington leads community impact for Save the Children’s US programs. In this role, he spearheads the strategic direction for the national Rural Early Learning (REaL) Impact Network—a movement of local cross-sector partnerships seeking community-wide improvement in early learning outcomes through changes to practices, policies and systems. He also aligns actions with national leaders in the field of place-based partnerships to support the Network, helps marshal resources for the Network’s operations and strategic initiatives, and drives thought leadership around rural place-based efforts.
Before joining Save the Children US, Nick spent his career helping organizations and communities use data to make informed decisions and improve the lives of children and families. He holds a bachelor/s degree in psychology from Harvard University and a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Richmond, VA, with his wife and two boys.
