Lannia Small

As the Senior Director of Partnerships, Lannia designs and implements strategic initiatives to build trust, increase collaboration, and shape the norms and practices of the social sector. She and her team build and cultivate partnerships that accelerate accurate and timely data flows, driving greater efficiency, effectiveness, and equity by leveraging Candid’s data, products, and research.

She has over 15 years of experience in strategy design, public-private partnerships, and product and program development in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Before joining Candid, she was the Director of Global Strategy & Partnerships at Indeed, where she successfully launched and scaled the company’s global social impact organization. Previously, she was the Deputy Executive Director at the New York City Center for Youth Employment, overseeing all operations and spearheading partnerships with corporations and industry associations. Earlier in her career, Lannia spent many years as a management consultant specializing in corporate sustainability and organizational strategy.

Lannia earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and holds Master’s degrees in policy and business from Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris.
