Kamilah is the visionary founder and CEO of Katalyst, a business consulting, coaching, and lifestyle company that is redefining the relationship between work and wellness for Black and Brown women in the nonprofit sector. Through Katalyst, Kamilah leads a movement that supports experienced nonprofit leaders seeking to transition from traditional career paths and embrace independent consulting with confidence, joy, and balance.

At the heart of Katalyst is the award-winning Nonprofit Consultant Mastermind Community, a global membership platform that supports women of color transitioning into entrepreneurship. The community provides more than just resources and expert advice; it offers genuine peer support from women who are walking a similar path, helping to turn overwhelm into clarity. Katalyst also extends its impact through a talent-sourcing agency, matching organizations with experienced, project-based consultants, and through curated in-person retreats and travel experiences designed for renewal, connection, and care.

Kamilah is also a devoted mother, a talented photographer, and a nurturer, rooted in her belief in the power of community and empowerment. She inspires and uplifts those around her, embodying Toni Morrison’s timeless wisdom: “Your real job is that if you are free, you need to free somebody else.
