Joshua Peskay

Joshua Peskay is co-founder of Meet the Moment, a consultancy that helps mission-driven organizations bring technology strategy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI into practical, human-centered practice. With more than 30 years leading technology and security work in the nonprofit sector—from building early websites in the 1990’s to protecting at-risk organizations from nation-state threats—Joshua has guided over 1,000 organizations in using technology to better serve their communities. Joshua approaches AI with both enthusiasm and caution, focusing on adoption that serves people rather than replaces them. A CISSP and CISM certified cybersecurity professional who has taught across the nonprofit sector (including TechSoup and NTEN), Joshua co-authored the cybersecurity chapter of AI for Nonprofits and specializes in making emerging technologies usable for nonprofits.
