Holly makes data accessible at Candid. She brings a proven track record of success in leading critical company functions and programs by seeing the big picture while relentlessly driving out the details. A natural relationship builder and communicator, Holly is skilled at making complex subjects accessible, interesting, and actionable to a wide range of audiences. In addition to her core responsibilities as the head of Data Services, Holly played a key role in the first year of Candid by leading the former GuideStar Sales and Customer Success teams.
In her more than 25 years of experience, Holly has played leadership roles in both the private and nonprofit sectors. Her career started in education and nonprofit management and then shifted into data tech, utility, and financial services before returning to the nonprofit sector. Early in her career, Holly served as the program manager at the National Society for Experiential Education, where she led a multi-year grant to build community, corporate, educational partnerships. Her passion for data led Holly to the private sector in 1998, where for over a decade she held a variety of IT roles of increasing responsibility. Holly returned to the nonprofit sector in 2014 when she joined Fidelity Charitable to run their International Giving and Philanthropic Advice programs. During her tenure at Fidelity Charitable, she also led initiatives to enhance their grantmaking database, which eventually led her to GuideStar. Holly thrives on the challenge of working cross-functionally and using data to drive process and program improvements for organizations and the sector.
Holly holds an AB from Wheaton College in Economics, An MS from Northeastern’s Bouvé College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke.
