Esther Saehyun Lee

Esther Saehyun Lee is the Principal and Founder of Elevate Philanthropy Consulting. She is a Community-Centric fundraiser, storyteller, and advocate who works to mobilize resources to communities. She’s committed to advancing the mission of justice in the nonprofit sector as a member of the inaugural Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF) Global Council member, Board Advisor for the Affinity Program for AFP-GTC, and one of the co-leaders of the Asian Fundraisers in Canada Collective.

In her work and volunteer positions, she works to challenge and dismantle systems of power within the nonprofit sector. She seeks to ground our sector’s practices in equity and justice. She is a movement builder dedicated to making space for people of colour within philanthropy. In addition to these titles, she’s also an amateur banjo player and cat mom.
