Social Impact Communications Strategist
Cierra is a visionary communications strategist and community organizer with over a decade of experience supporting nonprofits, government agencies, and small businesses. She is deeply committed to using storytelling and capacity-building to strengthen nonprofits, local government, and philanthropic organizations.
Her work spans financial literacy initiatives, internal communications strategy for the nonprofit sector, and arts-based community engagement—from leading volunteer-driven mural projects to guiding museums in elevating their social media presence. Whether she’s facilitating an executive storytelling workshop or painting alongside a hundred volunteers, she operates from the same belief: effective communication is a form of currency that moves people and resources.
Cierra holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College’s Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. She is also an AmeriCorps VISTA Alum.
