Chris Maddocks is senior vice president of creative strategy at Blue State. He brings extensive experience in fundraising, marketing, and digital transformation and leads the organization’s work with Médecins Sans Frontières USA / Doctors Without Borders, including sizable investments in technology and website strategy and ongoing programs in site testing and optimization.
Prior to Blue State, Chris served in a number of executive roles, including chief marketing officer at March of Dimes, where he oversaw all marketing and communications functions, and vice president of digital at UNICEF USA, where he led one-time, emergency, and sustainer giving in digital. Prior to UNICEF, he directed digital marketing and enterprise technology for the Children’s Hospital Trust, the philanthropic association of Boston Children’s Hospital.
Chris holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University and Bachelor’s degree in Politics from Earlham College. He lives in the Boston area with his wife and two children.
