Austin Snowbarger is the Director of Strategy and Research at the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) where he leads the organization’s research, learning and evaluation efforts, and supports CDP’s strategic planning.
Before joining CDP, Austin led learning and evaluation at NextFifty Initiative, a private foundation. He has also worked for non-government organizations in the international development and humanitarian fields in program, communication and research roles.
Austin holds a master’s in development and emergency practice from Oxford Brookes University. His master’s specialization was in disasters, risks and shelter. Austin has also completed coursework in program evaluation through Michigan State University.
