Kyoko Uchida

Kyoko Uchida became managing editor of Candid insights in January 2024. She previously served as managing editor and features editor of Foundation Center/Candid’s Philanthropy News Digest and as PubHub (which later became Issue Lab) manager. Before joining what was then called the Foundation Center, she was an editor at a communications agency, policy research firms, and NGOs, as well as a lecturer in composition and creative writing. She holds a B.A. in English (with minors in French and Global Peace and Conflict Studies) from the University of California, Irvine, and an M.F.A. in English from Cornell University.
