John previously served as Vice President of Product Management at Candid, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience across the private and social sectors.
He started his career at Intel and was Chief Operations and Solutions Delivery Officer at The Center to Promote Healthcare Access (DBA: Alluma). Throughout his career, he held various leadership positions in product management and strategy, business development, and operations at Now Software, Getty Images, In Focus Systems, Xerox, and Internet Archive. He has also been providing consulting advisory services for philanthropic organizations, such as the MacArthur Foundation Lever for Change.
John earned his Bachelors in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from MIT, and MBA from Stanford. He is currently the board chair at the Buck Institute for Education (DBA: PBLWORKS).
As head of Candid’s Product Management division, John led overall product vision, product strategy, and product development at Candid. As a member of the executive leadership team, he collaborated across Candid’s divisions to develop and deliver products and services and to ensure Candid’s offerings are widely adopted and aligned with sector trends.
