Anna Koob

Anna Koob is the Director of Analytics at Candid, where she leads the organization’s internal analytics team — connecting the function to leadership and data governance while helping inform product and other key decisions across Candid.

Anna has spent her career at the intersection of data, research, and the nonprofit sector. She has held several roles at Candid since joining as a research analyst, building expertise along the way in human rights funding, participatory grantmaking, nonprofit demographics, and the broader scale and scope of the U.S. nonprofit sector. Prior to Candid, she worked as a volunteer coordinator at Wisconsin Public Television, a fundraiser for a labor rights organization in Chicago, and a researcher at the University of Texas studying climate change and political stability, with fieldwork in Ethiopia and Senegal.

Anna holds a Master’s in Global Policy Studies from the University of Texas, and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin.
