As Network Engagement Liaison, Carla addresses the needs of individual Network partners and liaises across various internal Candid channels, including accounting, IT, and Customer Success. She also develops FIN communications and contributes to the planning and execution of Network Days.
Prior to joining Candid, she managed global strategy and outreach for the Risk and Insurance Management Society. She began her career as part of the government relations team at the International Trademark Association, where she developed and advocated the organization’s policies on intellectual property and general trade issues, with a focus on Europe.
She serves on the Family Council for New York Cares, a nonprofit organization focused on volunteer management, and the Junior Board of CAMBA, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit organization that provides social services to New Yorkers in need. She recently completed the Community Leadership Course conducted by the Citizens’ Committee for Children, a child advocacy organization.
Carla holds an MS in Government from the London School of Economics and a BS in Public Administration from James Madison University.
