Program Manager - New York Learning Center

As program manager for Candid’s New York Learning Center, Elizabeth manages the day-to-day operations for Candid’s outward-facing public services and programming in the New York Metro Area. As such, Elizabeth provides oversight of local programming and outreach for the New York Learning Center and is responsible for creating dynamic and innovative experiences for social sector professionals throughout the region.

Elizabeth joined Foundation Center, now Candid, in 2018 as a programs associate. For the last two years has managed Candid’s webinar programming aimed at strengthening nonprofit professional skills in fundraising, leadership and management, and organizational sustainability. More recently, as the programs specialist for Candid’s New York Learning Center, Elizabeth has been coordinating in-person programs for Candid’s audience in New York City.

Before coming to Candid, Elizabeth worked with the Sobrato Family Foundation and Lush Cosmetics’ Charitable Giving Program. Elizabeth has an M.A. in International Studies from the University of San Francisco, and a B.A. in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
