Eva leads the vision, goal setting, strategy and execution for the Profile Update Program. Eva aims to dramatically increase the information available about social sector organizations to grow the visibility of their work and to connect them with potential supporters.
In her role, Eva is an advocate for greater nonprofit transparency and for data-driven practices to drive impact. Over 100,000 organizations now share information through the Profile Update Program with over 75,000 earning a Seal of Transparency on GuideStar. This information is used by people to support transparent and effective organizations, to increase collaboration and reduce waste, and to reveal the diversity of the sector.
Eva honed her strategy, management and analytical skills through 14 years of management consulting work and 4 years of product management at GuideStar. From 2001-2005, Eva was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, working with large technology and retail clients and conducting research for the McKinsey Global Institute. From 2005-2015, Eva focused on social sector strategy and evaluation as a leader at FSG Social Impact Advisors. She worked with foundations and nonprofits to develop solutions to complex social issues in health, education, and community development. From 2016-2019, Eva led the Profile Update Program to new heights – growing participation in the program by over 50,000 organizations and contributing to the creation of new information about the sector.
