Jake oversees Candid's data, design, product management, sales, and marketing operations. Jake's team turns Candid's databases into timely, reliable, and easy-to-use features that improve decision making across the social sector. For nonprofits, these products help them identify prospective funders and to broadcast their organizational profiles to a wide audience. For donors, Candid's products help optimize their impact by allowing them to scan the philanthropic landscape and to surface the best partners for their initiatives. For the entire field, these products help make sense of our sector on a daily and historical basis, in the context of a rapidly changing world.
Jake's team manages all of Candid's core products, including Foundation Directory Online, GuideStar, the Profile Update Program, Philanthropy News Digest, APIs, IssueLab, and Candid.org, which collectively attract millions of users per year around the world and are responsible for most of Candid's earned revenue. The Products division also includes data discovery, machine learning, user experience research, and prototyping, to ensure that Candid is bringing forth the best, most actionable information to the sector, at scale.
